I have to wake up in four hours, but I just can't stop.Update August 18, 2015:Polyball is a great indie game because it has an attention to detail and yet it's remarkably simple. I thoroughly enjoy the lack of cookie-cutter scenery (every level is unique). The ball itself seems more of a polyhedron than an actual sphere, but I find it rather endearing. The racing element is absorbing, I find myself trying to top other players' ghost replays hundreds of times on a single level. This game truly brings out the trial and error spirit in me, and I can't say many games do that. If you are looking for a simplistic, yet highly responsive racing game that doesn't have to be about cars, race tracks, steering wheels, or crashing then you are currently on the right page. Studio Monolith has a great game in the making and its name is Polyball. 10/10. Don't let the trailer fool you.The graphics might be quite decent and the sound design likewise......but I've never seen such horrid UIs on a released product.They focused so hard on making new features and content that they didn't stop to think if they should have.It's a mess of options, levels, and just... stuff.The UI immediately raised red flags but, then the level design was criptic, but not in a fun way. Open levels for no particular reason except to let players actually lose themselves in them - without the fun parts.And the levels get only worse due to the wonky camera which is a complete disservice to the game.So overall:-Graphics are cool-Sound design is neat-UI is a mess-Camera is a mess-Level design is a messReleased to the public way too early, and not for lack of content, just lack of focus.. Has improved my boners by 2.3%. 10/10 Would buy again to take both first and second on the leaderboards.. Got this game near its release from early access and absolutely love it! Recommended for lovers of Marble Blast and other marble games. The physics are some of the best of the genre promoting speed but also control. If you love competing for leaderboard spots this situation the game for you. With only 2 hours in(more to come) I dare to state that this is the best early access game of the year 2015.. Fun game and very challenging!! Basically a cross between Marble Blast Ultra and Super Monkey Ball! Great first game from a new developer!!. This game is showing a lot of promise. Bought it early to as to assure the developers that there is DEFINITELY a crowd out there for a Marble Madness simulator. Can't wait to see how it turns out over time!!. Soundtrack and game environment are nicely done, but the gameplay is lacking; too much awkward platforming.
